Assassin’s Creed has always been a game of style, mystery, and adventure, so it’s no surprise that it’s letting its fans down. But over the past few years, the game has been a constant topic of debate among fans for its polarizing performance.

But even though the franchise contains some rather weak entries, fans have always been drawn to it no matter what. And now it seems the same has been the case with Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Ubisoft’s latest update shows that the game has now crossed a player base of 20 million users in just 2 years.

Fans react to Assassin’s Creed and attract 20 million players
When it launched in 2020, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla received a bag of mixed reviews from fans as they felt the game lacked the material that made the franchise so popular. Despite all this over the past 2 years, it has managed to build up a stable player base, making it a total of 20 million players by October 2022.
So, fans have now talked about the fact that although he is not the best of all, he still holds a special place in the hearts of fans. Graphically and story-wise especially, it has the potential to be remembered as a milestone for the franchise.
Over 20 million Vikings have embarked on their epic journey to Valhalla. Standing next to Eivor. From Norway to England. To the mythical realms of the gods.
Thank you for taking this journey with us. SCAL! #Assassin’s Creed pic.twitter.com/cQ1vegGbBq

Honestly a really enjoyable game. Probably one of my most played AC games and I’ve played them all. The only problem is that to enjoy this game, you cannot treat it as an AC game. It’s basically a Viking simulator. Great viking game. Terrible assassin belief game. Scal!

It’s also worth noting that the game has over 400 hours of gameplay, so it’s very common for games with such huge maps and stories to get repetitive. But instead, fans think it was really great, and the game provided them with much-needed adventures and tales to experience.
It’s not my favorite AC game, but it’s been over 400 hours on PS4 and PS5 at least.
Enjoyed exploring and nature and Norse Mythology, Asgard, Ragnarok etc… pic.twitter.com/vXbHBPCOxo

Some other fan reactions
Apart from the game being a belated hit, it’s also worth noting that Assassin’s Creed Valhalla might be the last game to involve such a large open world due to the harsh reactions from fans who thought the game was just too much. big.
But despite all that, there are still some fans who think the game was capable enough to pull off a stunt like this, which makes it all the more memorable.
If there’s one thing you can always rely on, it’s the same old trolls complaining with every post. 20 million gamers speak for themselves. If it was a flop it would be like 1-2 million

Fans also started asking where was the latest episode of the game as they were waiting for it wholeheartedly. Although now it looks like the final chapter is almost here.

I invested more than 270 players in this game, I loved it. Even if there’s no assassination, I’m happy to play a great Viking game. Can’t wait for the last chapter. It will suck to say goodbye to Eivor but I loved how it tied into AC3. Long live Japan!
