I didn’t think it was possible, even for the Texans, who can’t stop the run at all, to give up two bills for Derrick Henry with zero threat from a Titans passing game. But give Henry and the Titans credit. This offense is so anemic that I don’t see how he can be productive in the future unless he’s still at the top of his game. And he entered the week averaging 4.0 per carry, nearly a yard shy of his previous career rate. But there’s no denying he looked fantastic on Sunday.
As DJ Moorethe QB change was the perfect elixir for Terry McLaurinwho looks like the player we were thinking of signing.
It seems Christian McCaffrey going to get Panthers-level volume for the 49ers, which would the RB1.
Christian McCaffrey is the first player since LaDainian Tomlinson in 2005 with a TD pass, TD rush and TD reception in the same game.
He is the first player with 30 passing yards, 30 rushing yards and 30 receiving yards in a game since HIMSELF in 2018. pic.twitter.com/HLiNp43Yor

Brandon Aïyuk caught McCaffrey’s TD pass, and George Kittle scored, but Aiyuk and Kittle had nine touches combined to 26 for McCaffrey. I would trade Deebo Samuel when he is healthy again.
Matthew Stafford doesn’t seem right to me. The news is that it could have an impact on the productivity of Cooper Kupp go forward. Kupp is still scoring 20 points per game over the past three weeks. But that’s down about 19% from last year.
Tyler Locket could have had an even bigger day without a few mistakes (fumble, drop TD). Lockett is low end WR2, high end WR3 now.
Looks like Travis Stephen is clearly the bell cow and will not be used wisely as last week’s hit count suggested. He now needs to step up to RB No. 1 level. I can’t sit here and quibble about how he looks anymore when he’s averaging over six yards per run. I have to respect the stats at this point.
Courtland Sutton started out as No. 1 receiver, but he hasn’t made many plays in weeks. He has a TD over the season. In London, it was overtaken by jerry jedy and Greg Dulcich for targets. I think Dulcich is the bigger story. In his three games, he has 12 catches for 182 yards and a TD. It’s definitely in the Top 12 at this position. He’s in charge now.
Finally something Kyle Pitts (over 30% market share for the second week in a row and converting nine targets in five catches for 80 yards and a TD). You can’t cut a talent like this. I feel the same about Drake London now. Yes, Marcus Mariota is terrible, but Pitts or London can still be productive each week.
Caleb Huntley looks so much better than Tyler Allgeier as a runner but offers nothing as a receiver. Huntley is averaging 4.6 per bag after his effective Week 8. Allgeier now sits at 3.9. But they are both pretty much the same as the RB3s.
I think we can call Onta Foreman a success story after an Achilles tear.
PJ Walker was able to get the ball across the field, especially on the TD strike to Moore which leveled the game in the dying seconds. Moore became a WR2 again. You have to attribute his early season woes to Baker Mayfield.
Terrace Marshal also worth a pickup, with nine targets for 87 yards.
Dak Prescott used his legs on a race designed for a TD for the first time in a while.
It’s hard to see a way that Ezekiel Elliott gets his job back Tony Pollard given how electric Pollard looked compared to the Bears – but rest assured he will.
It’s a bit like Khalil Herbert and David Montgomery, where Herbert is clearly better but the Bears just can’t stand Montgomery for some reason.
Justin Fields is easily a fantastic starting QB, scoring 18 points per game over the past three weeks.
You gotta love how the Dolphins basically channel all of their passing game into Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle. The duo combined for 20 catches and 294 yards, about two-thirds of the team’s total passing production. Tua Tagovailoa is solid, but who wouldn’t be with these two weapons. Waddle is Hill’s perfect complement given his ability to dominate the shorter strata of the field and chase after the catch.
By Andre Swift should be downgraded now to an RB3. He saved his day with a TD but jamal williams outscored him 13-10, outscored him 76 yards at 33 and got the job done on the goal line. Williams is an RB2.
Dalvin Cook really rolling since Week 2, averaging 18.7 PPR points per game. Remember the problem was worries over his shoulder. But it’s held back.
DeAndre HopkinsThe market share of PED suspension is staggering. 13 more targets for 159 yards and a touchdown in Week 8. He’s in that top tier of receivers with Kupp, Justin Jefferson and Stefan Diggs (with Ja’Marr Chase out). It definitely passes Davante Adams.
I don’t know what to think of the Raiders. The Saints defense struggled, allowing 10 assists with just one pick and a passer rating of nearly 100 in the first seven weeks. Adams had three yards on five targets. Derek Carr should have been benched. I thought Josh Jacobs was rock solid in a good offense, but you have to re-examine your background after a game like this.
I also wrote on Friday that Alvin Kamara would find the end zone at his expected pace given the Saints’ propensity to drive the ball into the red zone. But I didn’t expect three scores in week 8. Andy Dalton was announced as a starter for the remainder of the season and predictably powered Kamara in the passing game (9 for 96 with two scores).
The Jets froze Elijah Moore (a target) and therefore, I expect Moore to be traded before Tuesday’s deadline. Zach Wilson was awful (three awful choices) but got Garrett Wilson involved (6 out of 115). Wilson is back in the circle of trust now. The Jets don’t have a running game with Breece Hall, so maybe they’ll let Wilson fire 40 passes a week, to hell with turnovers. Wilson doesn’t seem to know he can run forward. He just backs away. It was the last chance for the Jets here and Wilson didn’t set foot to throw or just run for 15 yards. He threw an incompleteness instead.
Yeah. Wilson only runs backwards though. #Jets https://t.co/2ITssv6kPh pic.twitter.com/ozmzMqEHZn

Rhamander Stevenson is a first-round pick in a re-draft. He had eight targets and 143 total yards.
A.J. Brown is clearly the Philly alpha WR. But I think you still have to run DeVonta Smith there because you never know when it’s going to be a Smith game, and he’s capable of big games. Smith is more of a Flex 10 game (as a third or fourth WR).
Miles Sander has five touchdowns in seven games – a pace of 12 touchdowns. He’s also averaging 4.9 per carry and is on pace for 1,367 rushing yards.
We will not mention Najee Harris‘ rhythm since it is a family chronicle.
