You can get fried steak, mashed potatoes, and a fully charged electric vehicle at Cracker Barrel. Across the country, Cracker Barrel restaurants have all the electric vehicle chargers people could want. Depending on which one you go to, most restaurants have an EVgo-branded Tesla, CHAdeMO, and CCS/SAE charger available for customers.
Using the PlugShare website, drivers can find important information before stopping for a charge. Prices at Cracker Barrel can change depending on a few conditions, what EvGo calls the variable charge. In some cases, using the CHAdeMO charger uses a flat rate of $4.95 and a charge of $0.30 per minute. All Tesla, CHAdeMO and CCS/SAE chargers charged at 50kW. Some EV chargers offer DC fast charging, but check ahead if you need a specific charger.
Depending on how much charge your electric car needs, a charge will likely cost between $10 and $20. Those on an EVgo Member monthly plan will get a better deal at $0.20 per minute charge. Those with an EVgo Plus plan will only pay $0.24 per minute of charging.

In 2011, a press release announced that drivers could charge an electric car at a Cracker Barrel in some of its stores in Texas. Using the eVgo network, subscribers would be recharged with high-power fast charging at eVgo Freedom stations in and around Dallas/Ft. The pain.
