Released today, October 25, the second paid DLC pack for GRID Legends is all about endurance racing.
Following its February launch, a year of downloadable content packs are planned, to be purchased individually or as part of a “deluxe edition upgrade”.
With the second batch now available, 25e October 2022, Enduring Spirit features multi-class endurance racing, Fuji Speedway, and four new cars. After the Classic Car-Nage on the theme of the demolition derby, it’s all the contrast.
New story additions
Eight new story elements are included in Enduring Spirit, as you play as Seneca Racing’s Lara Carvalho, with Yume Tanaka as your teammate.
While you might think multi-class races are already in Legends, they were a staggered start and wildly different before. For example, junior formula cars versus trucks.
This time it’s a GT and prototype themed race, where the objective is to win your individual class – much more authentic.
Four new cars
A teaser on social media earlier this month hinted at four new cars. From there, we released our estimates, and now we have the confirmed list:
- Mazda Autozam AZ-1 Mazdaspeed
- Bentley Continental GT3
- Bentley Speed 8
- BMW V12 LMR
Throughout the new story pieces, each of the vehicles is used. They are usable elsewhere, for example in online multiplayer where even those who don’t have the Deluxe Edition or that individual DLC pack can try them out if the host has the premium content.
Fuji Tour
The Japanese circuit is also making its debut in the interesting GRID series with four layouts. There are some with the baffle at the Dunlop curve and without, but also each inverted. Because GRID.
New trophies, achievements and career events
Apart from the new story-driven story missions, three new career events have been added. Remember, this is without the stories and focuses on car upgrades and championship unlocks.
10 new content-specific trophies and achievements are also unlockable.
Several quality of life stability changes have also been passed, following Photo Mode in July. The full changelog is below, and select locations in the game, such as London at Night, will feature Halloween-themed lighting over the next few weeks.
