The GTA series may soon add the next game to the franchise after a considerable amount of time. Although Rockstar Games hasn’t explicitly announced the next game in the series, there has been official word on the ongoing developments in the upcoming title.
Players still expect new features to debut with the new game. With the expected improvements visually and overall gameplay, the online experience will bring fresh air to new players and long-time fans alike. .
This article will look at why the next game should feel new and different and what Rockstar Games can do to make things more immersive.
GTA 6’s online mode should be much more refreshing
1) Goodbye, Los Santos
Having played GTA 5 for the past nine years, gamers are waiting to explore new horizons for the next title. Offline story mode and the online map are set in the same place in GTA 5, which is why most dedicated players remember every nook and cranny of the map by heart.
Rumor has it that the next title will bring new locations, with references to old games and with all the upgrades and new characters it contains. Players can’t wait to receive any announcements or details to start the countdown to the big release.
2) New vehicles and improved mechanics
GTA Online is being drip-fed with new vehicles on top of the game’s massive collection of cars. The upcoming title is set to debut with even more cars in the game. Recently released leaks have made some players even more excited about many new features, especially with all the latest interior controls.
The interiors seen in the leaked captures show an incredible amount of detail added to the vehicles as well as dynamic animations, with options to control:
- Armrest position
- Seat position
- Mirror location
- Interactive accelerator/brake/clutch pedals
- Steering wheel location
- Reclining seat
- Sun visors and more.
3) Advanced NPCs
NPCs should now be more responsive which could add an additional missing element in GTA Online. NPCs in GTA Online rarely run away or fight back when provoked, but that could all change if NPCs could react differently to each situation.
During missions and heists, advanced NPCs will make things harder and force players to rethink how they complete missions. The more realistic details Rockstar adds, the more immersive the game becomes.
4) Weapons
Grand Theft Auto Online is already doing well, with the enhanced and expanded version looking much better than how the game looked when it was released. Games today come with capabilities that accommodate ray tracing support, AI upscaling technology, and higher frame rates with resolutions well beyond 1080p.
Modders have already shown what the Grand Theft Auto universe will look like with all the visual upgrades. There are tweaked scripts to help specific details come to life, like weather enhancements, reflections, and much more improved shadows.
If the final version of the next title looks this good from a distance, the whole online experience will be much better than GTA Online.
