Although the description of the video may not be very interesting, a Twitch streamer named SurvivalHorrorNetwork shared an automated Twitch email they received informing them that a copyright holder – Konami – had monetized a test stream they were streaming. Kotaku has contacted Konami for comment.
Finally, a site named WhatIfGaming claims to have heard Silent Hill 2 redo the details from an unnamed source, including that it will have a shoulder-mounted camera, “incredible” graphics, and the return of series art director Masahiro Ito and beloved composer Akira Yamaoka. The source claims that Bloober Team is developing the new Silent Hill 2, a rumor circulating since at least May 2022 when alleged leaked screenshots started doing the rounds. In June 2022, Bloober Team unveiled their current project, a Layers of fear reboot somehowwhich will build on the foundations of that franchise with “a surprising new story and gameplay direction.”
